At NVD, we believe that even our spec homes should reflect a custom home. We build all of our homes with the same level of standards as we would our custom homes. We mixed a super cozy, slightly rustic, and totally beautiful home with a practical space layout; that is totally functional and comfortable for any family. Since wood is one of the most popular materials in a modern farmhouse design, we decided to use this as inspiration for the rest of the space to keep it warm and totally charming. At 77, we have incorporated a modern look with farmhouse style, adding in a little of that classic coastal feel that so many of our clients love.

Since the kitchen is the heart of a farmhouse home, we wanted this room to feel spacious, comfortable and unpretentious. We also wanted it to work seamlessly with the rest of this space. Using windows as the backsplash, it allowed extra light to pour in and fill up the space. The stunning concrete mosaic tiles bring this kitchen to another level.

A single French door leads out from the kitchen to the outdoor room featuring custom designed privacy screen. Here you can enjoy evening dinners outside, spend late night hours lounging with friends or watch the golfers work their way through the 10th hole at the newly developed West Hills Golf course.

When you enter the foyer of this home you are greeted by large white beams in the tray ceiling and a mosaic patterned floor that guides you from the exquisite Marven 3 glass panel door to the one of kind closet and bench.

A shiplap gallery wall with a wood floating shelf divides the dining area with the bedrooms for the open concept feel but with loads of texture and wood tones.

The master bedroom is the epitome of elegant. We didn’t waste a single opportunity to design this as the ultimate getaway. Tray ceilings, a sea of natural light, a reading nook and a roomy walk in closet.
