I am the mother of two sweet children whom I try to encourage to spread kindness in their actions every day. The world is a scary place, and needs all the love that we’re able to give! I am a daycare teacher and love to plan themes and activities, go on field trips with my kids in my classes and have worked in the childcare field for 8+ years. I also have a passion for fundraising, and have been doing so since 2012 for several children who have visited the IWK, and for other local causes. Most recently, I held the first ever International Sailor Moon Day in the Maritimes here in Fredericton and together we raised $335 to buy 22 graphic novels for the Children’s Department at the Fredericton Public Library.  I currently have two Facebook pages, International Sailor Moon Day – Fredericton, NB and Love for Fredericton – which I use to share any events that I find happening within the Fredericton area for families. The page also features any non profit events that I hold, whether it be a market style fundraiser or a free clothing swap for families. When asked to join this blog, I was honoured and always love getting involved in things that bring people together. Thank you for this opportunity, and I hope that I can find lots of family fun events for all of us to attend in the future!

Stephanie ( Fredericton, NB)
